    1. What does it mean to be a CTMA International Chaplain?

Being a CTMA International Chaplain means being an agent of compassion, support, and hope, prepared to serve people in their greatest moments of need, anywhere in the world. You will be trained to serve in hospitals, prisons, schools, communities, in emergency situations, disasters, and cross-cultural missions, representing God’s love with ethics and excellence.

The CTMA International Chaplaincy Course has a workload of 7 hours of intensive practical and spiritual content. It is offered in two flexible modalities to adapt to your reality:

No specific academic background is required to enroll. We value the call to serve and the sincere desire to make a difference. The course is structured to train people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, as long as they have a heart for faith and service to others.

CTMA cares about your long-term ministry, which is why we provide support to our trained chaplains. This includes access to our exclusive global community, participation in missions, and a bank of up-to-date resources and materials to support your ministry. You will be part of a global family of chaplains.

Our curriculum is carefully designed to include modules focused on crisis counseling, psychological first aid, and coping strategies in high-pressure environments.
